Are there any fees I’ll need to pay beyond the monthly subscription fee?
No. You will never pay your Zfluencers. Instead, you will reward them for their work by giving them your products.
Do I need to negotiate and sign individual contracts with my Zfluencers?
What if a Zfluencer doesn’t do what they have promised to do?
Every Zfluencer signs an Agreement with us saying that they will be responsive to the brand(s) they’re working with and deliver what they promise. Our policy is to terminate a Zfluencer if they do not abide by the terms of the Agreement, however, we have never had to let a Zfluencer go for non-compliance. Our Zfluencers are the best of Gen Z, and they want to be successful for the brands they love and work with. The key to success is regular and clear communication with your Zfluencers about assignments and expectations.
How will I choose my Zfluencers, and is it possible to work with specific Zfluencers, such as those who are 21 or older or in specific markets?
Yes. When you join our Brand Community, you will complete a brand profile that describes what you’d like your Zfluencers to do and any specific requirements you may have. In addition, your “Zfluencers Waiting To be Approved” and “Approved Zfluencers” databases are searchable by age, school, city, and interests, e.g., wellness, sustainability, etc.
How many Zfluencers can I expect to work with?
If you are a Basic Subscriber ($500 per month), you can work with up to 20 Zfluencers. If you are a Premium Subscriber ($1,000 per month), you can work with up to 50 Zfluencers. If you are an All-Access Subscriber ($2,500 per month), you can work with as many Zfluencers as you like.
How do you select Zfluencers for your network?
We are very selective about who we accept into our network and we do not accept “professional influencers.” We look for responsible and reliable members of Gen Z who want to play an active role in marketing the products they love, people a company selling to Gen Z consumers would want to hire. The vast majority of our Zfluencers hold leadership positions on their campuses and in their communities, have between 2,000 and 25,000 followers on Instagram and up to 1,000,000 followers on TikTok. Eighty percent are in college, 13% are in high school, and 7% are graduate students or working full time. All of our Zfluencers are 16 years of age or older and born between 1995 and 2015.
I know Zfluencers are not professional influencers, but do they still have meaningful social media engagement rates?
Zfluencers actually have higher engagement rates than professional influencers—25% versus 2%—and their posts are significantly more credible and believable because they are rooted in an authentic love for the brand.
What are some ways I can use my Zfluencers?
Your Zfluencers are yours to leverage in whatever way works for you and your Zfluencers. For example, you may want to use them as social media ambassadors who post authentic content; as focus groups members, survey respondents, and product testers if you’re looking for feedback on marketing or other corporate initiatives; and as unpaid, for-credit interns.
If my Zfluencers are posting for our brand on social media, do their posts have to be FTC compliant?
Yes. Zfluencers sign a contract with Zfluence that states that anything they post for a brand must be FTC compliant. You are free to let your Zfluencers know which FTC-compliant hashtag you’d like them to use.
