How much does it cost to be part of the Zfluence Brand Community?
It costs $500 per month in total to be part of our Brand Community. There are no hidden fees or commissions.
Do I pay my Zfluencers?
No. Because your Zfluencers are true fans of your brand, they are thrilled to receive products from you as a reward for their work. Our product-as-reward approach reinforces our focus on enabling relationships with ambassadors who genuinely love your brand.
Do I need to have individual contracts with each of my Zfluencers?
No. Zfluencers sign a contract with us, which you can find here, so there is never any need for you to sign individual contracts with your Zfluencers.
How do you differ from other influencer-marketing companies?
We’re the first and only solution that empowers companies to leverage the influence of their most authentic Gen Z brand fans to attract new Gen Z consumers. While other influencer marketing firms pair companies with anyone who’s willing to post for cash, we connect you to your authentic brand fans, who you reward with products only, never cash. Our focus on authenticity is a key differentiator because Gen Z consumers—who value authenticity above all else—see through, and are turned off by, “pay-to-say” posts. Because Zfluencers’ posts are based on authentic brand love, they’re believable and drive sales. In addition, we keep things simple and real: we enable you to communicate and manage your team of Zfluencers directly, your way; there are no hidden fees or individual contracts to negotiate; we don’t limit the number of Zfluencers you can work with or the number of posts; and you get global rights to your Zfluencers’ content and free and ongoing promotion to our entire network of Zfluencers.
How do you select Zfluencers for your network?
With a 21% acceptance rate, we are the most selective Gen Z influencer network in the country. We look for responsible, reliable, and inspiring members of Gen Z who have earned their influence. Most of our Zfluencers hold leadership positions in their sororities, fraternities, campus clubs, and/or on their athletic teams; are top-performing students; and are passionate about health and fitness, fashion and beauty, food, photography, travel, and the environment. The majority have between 2,000 and 25,000 followers on Instagram and up to 500,000 followers on TikTok.
What are the demographics of your Zfluencers?
All of our Zfluencers are 16 years of age or older and members of Gen Z (born between 1995 and 2015). Eighty percent are in college, 13% are in high school, and 7% are graduate students or working full time.
What is the engagement rate of your Zfluencers?
Zfluencers have an average engagement rate of 22%, which is more than 10 times the 1-2% engagement rate averaged by “pay-to-say” influencers.
Is it possible to work with Zfluencers in specific markets or on specific campuses?
Absolutely. When we announce to our Zfluencers that you have joined our Brand Community, we can share with them any specific requests that you have.
How will I choose my Zfluencers?
As soon as you join our Brand Community, you’ll be given access to your own password-protected Brand Page. Within 48 hours of signing up, you’ll begin reviewing and approving Zfluencers (all of whom will have self-identified as fans of your brand) on your Brand Page. Once you’ve approved your Zfluencers, their email addresses will be added to your Page, enabling you to quickly and easily communicate with, and mobilize, them.
How many Zfluencers can I expect to work with?
On average, brands receive interest from 250-450 Zfluencers during their first month and 200 additional Zfluencers in each subsequent month as new Zfluencers are added to our national network. You can work with as many or as few Zfluencers as you like. Most brands work with between 50 and 500 Zfluencers at any given point in time.
How do I work with and manage my Zfluencers?
Your Brand Page will include the email addresses for all of your approved Zfluencers so you can communicate with them easily, directly, and regularly.
I have an existing ambassador program. Can I add my Zfluencers to it?
Yes. While most companies use our platform as the basis for launching and managing their own Gen Z ambassador program, some brands use Zfluence to augment and amplify existing influencer programs. Your Zfluencers are yours to manage in whatever way makes the most sense for you and your business.
Do Zfluencers have to make their posts FTC compliant?
Yes. Zfluencers sign a contract with Zfluencer that states that every post by a Zfluencer must be FTC compliant. If there is a particular FTC-compliant hashtag that you’d like them to use, you can let them know.
What if my Zfluencers don’t post as they said they would?
Our Zfluencers are contractually bound to us to be responsive to the brand(s) they’re working with and to do what they promise to do. Our policy is to terminate a Zfluencer if they do not abide by the terms of the Agreement they have signed, however, we have never had to let a Zfluencer go for non-compliance.
My company offers a service, not a product. Can I still work with Zfluencers?
Yes. Services—like fitness studios, for example—can provide gift certificates for free classes as a reward for posting on social media.
